US Bancorp $440m renewable investment
US Bancorp plans to invest $440m (€341m £284m ¥33.9bn Y2,787m) this year in renewable energy projects - both solar and wind. This is up around 30% on last year which itself represented two-thirds of the banks total spend ever on renewables.
Whilst developers no longer get tax credits for renewable developments the investors can still do so under tax equity investment rules.
